non cv drive shaft ???
« on: Aug 29, 2006, 06:26:22 PM »
sooo with the non cv style d shaft have to have both flanges at the same angle? or do you just set the rearwith the pinion pointing up  making the rear u joint/flange level with the shaft? dont know how clear that sounds but.... also when i was setting up my pinion angle with the d shaft... i jacked up the rear and put it in gear and it would wable up and down.... thought this was weird so i went out to my stock 2wd truck and did the same thing and th d shaft wabled up and down... so i assume this is normal? thanks guys!! :beerchug:

The flanges have to be parallel with the non CV shaft. Do not point it at the t. case or you will get serious vibration.
