My baby... '70 F-250.... PRICE REDUCED!!!
« on: Aug 22, 2006, 05:59:40 PM »
This is my pride and joy. I hate to let her go, but I am moving and between me and my boyfriend we have too many vehicles.  So it's either the Ferd or the Migo.... The Migo fits in the garage, so this one's gotta go :rivers:

Located in Sacramento, CA

$1350

The Good:

1970 F-250
*~*~*~ NO SMOG ~*~*~*
*Rebuilt 360 (~50k miles)
*Edelbrock Intake/Carburetor
*Dual 40 series Flowmasters
*Fires on half a turn on a winter morning!
*3" lift
*About 2000 miles on new clutch
*Custom flatbed
*Custom Bumpers
*35" Super Swamper Boggers
*3 speed plus granny low tranny
*No frame rust
*K&N air filter
*Kennwood stereo
*Grant steering wheel
*Pontiac Sunfire bucket seats
*Full width toolbox in bed of truck
**Needs registration brought to current Registration is good through May 2008

The Neutral:

'79 f-150 frame and front axle, '70 f-250 engine, cab and rear axle. (I bought it this way and it's worked for me fine).

The Bad:
*Needs gears (although it's cheaper and easier just to swap out the whole axle) Has 3:31's in the rear and 4:10's in the front
*Needs front passengers side bearing (has slight wobble when driving)
*Carb needs adjusting, runs rich
*5 lug front and 8 lug rears

theres others:

np435 trans was rebuilt with engine
RV cam
One piece rear driveshaft (one ton u-joints)
Herculined interior
All minor rust was repaired

It's a smooth truck only sold it to her because i got a landcruiser, if i had a use/money for it i'd buy it back in a heartbeat.

Gears and lug issue is cheap to fix with all the dana 60 folks out there these days.

Good luck with the sale

I always have to think about all the good stuff that someone else put on my rigs, but I never forget the stuff I personally put in. Sounds like a lot of extras you forgot about. :slap:

Unfortunately, circumstances change.  We're downsizing.  Matt's making some sacrifices, and so am I :rivers:

She's back up for sale.  I'll be including a strong complete replacement engine, as the one that's in it overheats at slow speeds.  Time will only tell if I get the engine in before sale or not.

and it's in Sacramento now.

It's loud, right?

I muffled it with Flows and it's still loud.  When he had it it was dumping right under the cab with no mufflers.  That's ticket heaven up here, so I had to throw some mufflers on it.  But yeah, it's still loud  It's hawtttt!! :gap:

priorities woman!

you need a truck, not a honeymoon..... people take honeymoons many years after a wedding, some never take them.....
