I was wondering if the lower first gear from an R151F could be put into a G52?

This cannot be done

The R trans has much wider gear set spacing to accomodate the larger bearings and wider, bigger gears to handle the added torque of the bigger engine.

Everthing in the R is bigger, longer, and stronger.
I have converted many 88-92 3.0 V6 R150F (3.83:1 1st gear) to the 4.31 turbo gear. Both the countershaft and 1th gear must be changed.
