22RE oilpan sump in the way.

I am working on a 85 toy truck and doing hi stear and the oilpan sump is in the way . What is up with this thanks. :hammerhead:

not sure, but can you run a 2wd truck oil pan? i beleive they are different... the 2wd is ifs, and the pan is very low.... might also need to swap out the pickup, but all in all, shouldnt be bad

I think you can use the Celica pan and pick up tube too. I thinnk that is what is on one of my motors!! :headscratch:

The thing I am not getting is that the sump is forwerd and not back like all of the uther ones I have seen. I am wanting to know if you can just flip the pan and pikup. Dus any one no if this is posibile. thanks  :hammerhead:

try it, see what happens... probably not a good idea to try and rig it backwards though, but hell, im sure someone will chime in and say im an idiot......

You cannot flip the pan.  You'd have better luck cutting and welding.

how is it the sump is interfering? Are you SASing a 2wd?

That is what I am saying  the sump is in the frunt of the moter not the rear.for the uther it is a 4x4 I have never seen a frunt sump on a 4x4 22r mabe some one has put a two wheel mot in this thing.
