V6 Calipers
« on: Jan 08, 2004, 10:06:44 AM »
There is a thread running on Pirate right now about the difference in 4cyl and V6 calipers. It was mentioned that in 1990 both versions got 4 large pistons rather than 2 large and 2 small. My question is whether or not pre '90 V6's had the more desirable calipers w/ 4 large pistons??

Yes. Before 90 the V6 trucks calipers had 4 large pistons / caliper and 4 cyl trucks had 2 large + 2 small pistons / caliper.
