4.3 v6 chev with 700R4
« on: Jul 30, 2006, 03:38:50 PM »
anybody want a 85 chev V6? it has TBI and is all there from the air cleaner to the manifolds

was told it has 85K on it and was running fine.  ( and I do trust the guy that told me that)

I was going to use it in my 83 butt just don't like the thought of my son learning to drive in a few years having to learn in something with that much power and top heavy.

So out she goes.

just want to see if I can get what I have in it back out.   ...... $300.00

in Santa Maria CA.
A good day working, that's just sick :reg:

Yup, by 85 it was already a few years old too.  They actually had a 3.8 liter version previous to that, but I've only seen em in boats, and no I'm not thinking of a buick 231 either.

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!
