Super Swamper IROK
« on: Jan 06, 2004, 09:58:41 PM »
Hey is anyone out there running the new super swamper IROK's? :driving:
I am wondering how they are doing out on the trails and in the rocks?
I am lieary about them because of the big gaps between the tread :shake_head:, makes rocks and crap easyer too puncture them :smack:, what do you all think about them.
Any Info on them will help alot.

Adam

So far I've had mine out on 4 snow runs. All I can really say is they ROCK! They are WAY better then my old BFG MT in the snow and they are slighty better than my buddies 37 MTR's in the snow. 2 runs was in very dry power. 1 run was in the frozen partial melted powder that was starting to turn into crappy snow. last run was in down right crappy snow, it looked about like a super slurpy for a 7/11 convent store. But so far I could n't be happier with them. I've also had them in the mud but only for about 15 minutes and they worked good but really wasn't enough time to get a good feel for them.

it sounds like they are a pretty good tire too go with we run alot of trails in the muddy rocks and dirt here in oklahoma and we need a tire that can hook up good in those conditions.
any probs with tire punctures ive noticed they have big gaps in the tread any probs with them.

I'm know locally for having lots of tire failures dues to side wall puctures, so only time will tell. Lets put it this way, the guys as at Americas Tire know me by name......but thats what they made tire certificates for, right!!!
