I am going out in the snow tomorrow as a matter of fact. Trail manners are much better...front end of the truck still wants to lift before the tires climb...I'm going to play with link angles a little more. I never thought it would be quite this much tuning, but it keeps getting better each time I play with it so its OK.

My tires are all backward ;) They work better that way IMO :)

got it into the snow, good news is i can go faster than ever before, between the smooth air shock ride and the bumps up front, going fast is really fun :)

bad news is, I need more power...or at least injection. I think I have been talking about making it a priority for about two years now :( I think I am really going to do it sooner than later.

Do you think you will be keeping to 4 cyl power or are you going to upgrade to some real ponies?

most likely 4 cylinder. I do know of a V8, but it would be some work and money to put it in. For now 4 cyl is fine, it does everything I want, and I have all the parts. I would need to pick up a couple gaskets and misc stuff but thats about it.

Thats what I thought until I got to try out a v8.  Now I'm putting a 6.0 in my buggy.  I'm hooked.  Nothing like HP with 42's and 1 ton axles linked.

I understand just trying to give you some motivation to just dive in and do it.  Either way your truck is cool and I think you've made the right decisions in your choices so far.  It is and will be cool as the parts keep piling on.

thanks man :)

I think EFI will complete this one for now, it just works. I wouldn't mind building a new one either...I've been considering gathering a small collection of parts and then get the lions share if this one sells.

I dunno, but so far so good, it works :)

EFI is in now...I've had it out a couple of times since and its great to get up on something, and not stall....seems so basic, yet I've been missing that for the last couple of years. stupid.

was in Moab recently...destroyed the rear truss on this obstacle...I ended up having to cut off the truss and re-installed a new one, along with new lower link mounts too while I was at it.

finished product...it will be getting  lot more bracing this time around. The original truss lasted 4 years of very hard wheeling, so I can't complain...but it was a hassle and a half to re-do it all so I am going to add some bracing to make sure I don't cram it again :) (after wheeling this weekend)

next go around I suppose, I'll build another :)

I really need to get on top of my debt and cash flow, this is a big step :) Hopefully I can find someone to buy it, I think its a good deal and the truck works :)
