soak a rag in vinegar and place it on yer burnt area. when the rag heats up, resoak it. the vinegar will pull the heat out, but you will stink unless you shower. Last time I needed it, i was peeling Marlin-sticker-size pieces of skin off my back
Try putting some avocado and honey in a blender.
do i get to put it in a taco after?
I think i will act like you didn't mention the vinegar or sticker sized skin chunks because that just bad
Aloe vera is your friend it works on the same concept as the vinegar, pulls the heat out of your skin, but it doesn't smell near as bad.
vinegar is very acidic, and thats not good for your skin, especially if its dried out from being sunburned.... cool water would also give the same effect, and essentially feels cooling while not really doing much in the terms of healing
Just trust me here, Ok?
Yep, Aloe Vera pulls the heat out just like BD said... and the aloe vera plants at Walmart are cheap Simply take a "leaf" or whatever you wanna call it and cut it down the middle of the narrow side, open it up and get that gooo allll over the affected areas It doesn't stink, and it's even edible Duffil, I've never heard of the Vinegar, but I'll keep that in mind!! I got 6 charges to try em out on this summer
duffil, I know it works My grandma swears by it! That is one of those old wive's tales that does work.

TR, you don't even have to buy the plant, it comes in bottles just go to where the sunscreen is, should be right around that area. the plants are handy though, becuase then you can buy it once, and use it again and again. My mom has a few for just this purpose
trust me, i'm a fair skinned redhead, used to being burned within 15 minutes outside (in west texas). end of summer my skin matches my hair, with or without sunscreen.
