Topic: ma70 lsd into 96 taco???

are the axle shaft the same...would like to have lsd on the 2wd taco.

I put a LSD in my 2wd '87 pickup and if yours is a 5 lug 2wd, then go get a diff from a '83-'85 supra and rip out the lsd.  That's what I used and it works great.  Kinda scary with a light rear end and a high HP motor though - especially in the rain.  It acts more like a drift car now.

i think the ma70 will work in the 79-85 celica...will try this weekend and post the results!
when my 96 diff broke from doing so crazy offroading i swap out the 3rd for one from a 91 p/u,so it sould work.(hehe drift car!!!)

I forgot to mention that I lowered the gear ratio from 1:373 to 1:456 when I swapped in the lsd too.  It's real fast from light to light now, but it tops out around 80mph or so on the freeway.  And yes, it's lowered on 215/40/r17's.  -Very fun to drive, but sucks in traffic due to a ceramic clutch and a lightweight flywheel.
