Hannemann Fiberglass?
« on: May 02, 2006, 09:40:16 PM »
Anyone used any of their parts? I'm contemplating one of their 4 pin fiberglass hoods. My stocker's bent and dented, and well, hood pins are coooool . I can build all the pin mounts and what not, but anyone got comments on the quality of thier parts? I also like being able to just pop 4 pins (locking of course) and have full access all around the engine.
This is the hood I want to go with, minus the big flared fenders.

Ive heard Hannemann leaves something to be desired, especially compared to GlassWorks. No first hand experience though.

Glassworks doesn't have a 2nd gen hood, and this is the only one I've found for a 2nd gen though (well, this and hannemann's stock hinge style one, but that only has 2 hood pins, so half the looks from the ricers in the school parking lot :haha:)

pretty good product,  :yesnod: a friend of mine bought some of there fenders(havent hit any rocks yet) but since your only gettin a hood you should be fine. cuz they only do fiberglass they really put there all into it. I would prob only purchase it when im down in that area other than that i dont want to know how much shipping will cost.

Well, I don't plan on going to California, especially with gas the way it is, everything I've seen is as long as you go with a good shipper it's worth the cash, I've heard plenty of horror stories from guys having glass parts crack in shipment (mostly 1 piece front ends and fenders). I don't think it would be disgustingly bad shipping wise, it's light and flat.
