Topic: radial tire or bias tire

Wondering which kind of tire to go with radial or bias.    Whats pro and cons of both thanks

Agreed. I like the 8psi bubble on bias, but they suck on the street.

A bias ply tire has a stronger carcass which is better for wheelin but sucks on the street for the first 20 min till they soften up.But if you plan on driving on the street go with a radial way more stable onroad.

radials are a lot more common because most people drive their vehicles on the road at least some portion of the time, that isnt to say you cant drive a bias on the road, it jsut doenst handle as nice as a radial

I plan to buy 37" tire on 15 inch rim What kind of radial tire I should get  I plan to go in the mud and rocks  I was thinking of Pro com X terrains?? any suggestions would help thanks

My vote is for MTR's After I replaced my swampers with them on my daily driver I couldn't be more happy with the on road performance, not to mention they have lasted longer than the swampers ever did.

I plan on getting some bias tires (iroks?) and cheap steel wheels for off road use and another set of possibly used road friendly tires and wheels for street use. Best of both worlds and no need to compromise offroad tire selection with "will it handle alright on the road?"

my swampers handle fine on the road, until it gets wet probably should've had them siped...but i'll be stepping up to 34s pretty soon so they'll just get sold...

I am driving 39,5 trxxus wich is bias. I have no complaints. first after I put them under they had a litle jump in them but that is all gone now.... Just pleasure
