Converting Cable speedo to Electric
« on: Apr 30, 2006, 11:14:13 PM »
Well i sas'd my 93 runner with a 22re and 5speed to chain driven t-case and i have a problem. My gear driven dual ultimate cases of course use the older style cable speedo, but my newer style chain driven t-case used the electric speedo. Ive been driving it around for a while now like this, maybe 3 or 4 weeks, and sometimes i think it would be nice to have it working again. What all do you suggest i do to remedy this problem?

Thanks,

Damen

i think you can swap in a speed sensor from a '92-95 4cyl gear case.  they went to a speed sensor setup after '91.
