Hey Mike.   I got Certified at Bobs Dive shop in Fresno  about 10 years ago . Good Place 10 ft deep pool on site. Calif waters about 50 degrees most of the year. I use a 8mm suit with Skin & hood .  Gets Warmer south down by Catalina. The Cost of Certification is not to bad . You have to have your basic gear. Snorkle Fins & Mask  . And you will have to rent gear to do the certification dive. My Gear is about 2k with all the goodies including a good dive computer .   Lots of fun   Lynn

right now it @ 59-62 degrees. :yesnod: :clap: :clap2: :love: :drool: and will get wormer as the days go by. :eyebrow: :wink2: right now vis is not so good tho.  :tantrum: :thumbdown: :dunno: :headshake: well that's get better shorty too.  :bowdown:
