Need toyota EFI stuff
« on: Apr 05, 2006, 07:02:12 PM »
I am thinking about an EFI swap almost immediately.

I need everything from an 83-84 Toyota Celica or Pickup (2x4 or 4x4).

would prefer an entire engine, but this is what I have to have

Head, harness, intake, ecu, and camshaft if good.

leads to junkyards etc... would also be appreciated
I'm going yota JUST so I can buy from Marlin more.

I've got a good used stock cam and a air flow meter for a 22re.  $40 + shipping for both.

If your leads fall through. I have everything you need (minus the head). Intake (started to polish) computer (86 4x4 auto) complete harness, etc. I live in Mo., so shipping might be a little pricy. But I'd sell for cheap.

too much money.. thanks though.
I need to figure out if it's just a faulty throttle cable or something else (throttle shaft worn out? )

I'll know tomorrow hopefully.  gotta finish the stupid dual case install *problematic one* so I can test each possibility on a hill.  :inthedark:

I swapped out cabs on my truck a while ago, The cab I use now is from an 87 2x4 automatic. I just jumped the wires that go to the transmission. So I think that you can get it to work.
