All right i am coming to a wall on this project because lack of funds. i was trying to sell my other truck but the guy fell through. i am thinking about cutting off the bed sides and making the rear of my truck simular to a pre runner. the reason for this is i want to runn a longer wheel base and dove tail it and need some more room for spare tire shock hoops and 3 propane tanks and all sorts of spares and i want to keep a low center of gravity with awsome flex in the rear as well as bigger tires in the snow season. all of which is not going to work with the center of the bed. i would go flat bed but i love the look of the stock bed bobbed. new up dates soon as i can get my work truck going new seats should be here in a week so that is going to be awsome.

i think that the bedsides is a great idea.  that is exactly what i want to do because i too like the look of a scared up stock bed.  you should build it so i can copy it.  i need to figure out where to mount my propane tanks, spare tire and tools and parts

love the build man lookin really good, since you have a twin stick you might as well save 100 and weld your carrier up, same thing and you can lock out the front and still be in low low... here is a picture of my rear end just to give you in idea on the dove

Is it just me or are your axles way wider than normal? What pushed the tires so far out? I like it.

1 3/8ths backspaceing and 10" wide wheels and 1 1/2 wheel spacers. these are just my daily driver tires. going to have beadlocked wheeling tire's and wheels. i am going to build my own front axle simular to a diamond axle as soon as it is drivable.

I really like those rims what kind and style are they? I may have missed it but what are the details on your propane setup?

I am anxious to see the bed pics. Did you cut out the whole bed floor and dovetail it?

ok good news for the build getting the front and rear diffs put together for x-mas from my mom and dad. mrs. yotadork is getting me marlin rear springs with feched hangers. and my sister is getting me a new long slip drive shaft from http://customdrivelines.com/toyota-long-slip.htm. and i havent cut the bed up because the bed is tarping the frame for now it will be in my garage latere today so it will be easier to work on.

Where'd you get the loom for the spark plug wires? I've been having trouble keeping mine away from my header.

all right i was about to order a set of long fields amd then it dawned on me that i should just go ahead and a diamond axle that is wider so i dont have to get longs twice. so next week i will be placing a order for 8 inch wider than than stock housing, ball gussets longs to fit, hysteer kit, and u bolt flip kit. it's pricy but once i get it i can run a better wheel with less offset which prevent all of my steering componets from being over stressed.

all right i just sold the 22r and i am now back to 7mge. i will be pulling it on my x-mas break and taking it to the machine shop for an entire rebuild. so the work truck might get propane now.

the 7mge is found in non turbo supras and cressidas from 88-92 and maybe earlyer than that. my dream otor is the 3rz but i all ready have a complete cressida in my yard so why not.

That is what I was thinking but aren't those motors straight sixes? Won't that be a little long? My buddy had a non turbo supra and it wasn't that fast but it sure would drift good and keep the tires spinning. I am guessing all that torque will come in handy.

Ramrod

why do you need 3 propane tanks in your bed?  thats gonna weight like 200 pounds and you'll be fine with one probably.

yotadork83

i dont think i will ever install all three at once but i got all three beacuse i like to go on wheeling/trips that last a week and i hate driving back and forth to town to get more gas.
