I'm pretty sure its legal to brew beer and wine (for personal consumption) I dont think its legal to distill your own alcohol though. It can actually be a pretty dangerous (read:explosive) process. Ever seen the Simpsons where Homer makes a distillery in his basement? :boozer:

I have a few friends that are beer makers, but there beer is pretty good and hearty!

As far as alcohol distillation, I believe you can legally make five gallons a year in my state for personal use, but were all hicks, so we don't nkow how to count to five and just keep making it...haha....

I believe 'ol porky would getcha if he caught you sellin' it though.

That is the real reason I am on this board...just to know how to make a "go-anywhere" shine wagon to sell to those even in the most desolate places....

lol

I love Wikipedia  just to clear this up...from Wikipedia.."In many countries, production of alcoholic beverages requires a license, and alcohol production is taxed. In the U.S., individuals may freely produce wine and beer for personal or family consumption (but not for sale), while all production of distilled beverages is regulated and taxed." so NO its not legal

Well, then Sir. I don't know much about all that, but you ever heard of the Southern "do and say we don't" thing?

Haha....

Your next project should be a steel replica of two dogs humping that you can proudly display for your neighborhood. Or better yet, welding in your frame tubes and front spring hanger  :_order:
