i have never seen a 22R valve cover that looks like that only on a 22RE

85 and on 22Rs have the "square" valve cover like that but yours prolly was replaced with the RE one

Just picked this gem of an 85 up about a week and half ago. The seller could have gotten three times the money for the truck if he would have pressure washed it and acid washed the engine bay.

That looks exactly like my truck when i bought it, No bed, small price tag, nice but dirty piant, dirty engine compartment. and just like you The first thing I did was pressure was the
