Be sure which one you're talking about!  I've dealt with one of them, don't remember which but he lived in medford, and had nothing bad to say about the deal.

Easy way out of it is to ask for a phone number. Till this day I never got one. Also do not deliver the goods until the check clears.

Even if the the check "clears" the bank don't do it.  Had a friend who even had the check "clear" and she paid some bills of with the money only to find out that it was a fraud check.  The bank went ahead and cashed a $21,000 check without even blinking  The bank then came and told here she owed them money.  Anyhow long story. She got screwed though.  I kept telling her it was fraudulent but she just didn't believe me.

oh yeah and it was the shipping company what not crap

I paid $60 for a pair of IFS hubs from mr.charli3 back at the end of January, he keeps telling me that he's going to ship them and going to ship them.  He's telling me that he's had a rough time lately, which I can understand, and I think I've been really patient with him...  but it's been two full months now, he has my money - I have no hubs...

Same O Same O guys.  I was trying to sell my F150 a cpl yrs ago on three different web sites. "Racejunk.com"  came highly recommended.  Got the same letter, a international phone number, and a promise that the shipper will return the cost. Never wanted to know or even asked any questions about the truck. I even called him to see if he wanted to know anything about the truck?  He got all pissed off on the phone telling me it was a legitimate number!  Local police wanted nothing to do with it, the web sight officials just said it is a scam and directed me to a page that warns me about such things, and the FBI just told me be carefull who I do business with.  It was very frustrating. I wanted to go along with it and see if someone would actually show up.

Man... forum boards are relatively small.groups of people all trying to help each other out. Why would any one be so dumb as to burn someone on one of these sites. From what I have seen as soon as it happens they get tore up real quick and real bad. Just my two cents.

Ok, my .02. If you are dealing with anyone outside the U.S. that is legit, they will pay with cash ALWAYS. Why? Because they know that a cashiers check issued from any other country is REVOKEABLE. In other words a cashiers check issued from any other country than the U.S. is WORTHLESS. I have sold a 50K boat to a Canadian citizen who paid CASH. I have just recently sold a quad to an Australian citizen who paid CASH, and by CASH I mean U.S. money. Both buyers told me up front that a cashiers check from outside the U.S. are WORTHLESS and never guaranteed by anyone.
If you get a buyer willing to pay CASH through a third third party in the U.S., in my experience they are legit. If they want to pay with a cashiers check or overpay and have you send them the difference back in cash they are low life lying THIEVES and deserve to be reported and SCREWED with as much as possible.
Again, just my .02 :hammerhead: :beerchug:

Sucks because i've heard alot of good things about this guy but i'm pretty sure he's giving me the shaft here.

Bought a power steering res, hoses, pump and pulleys from Fiercefirstgen559 on June 5th. Shortly after he sent me a message indicating that his brother sent off the parts and that he still owed me the pulleys and some mounting hardware.

It's July 15 now, numerous private messages later that he is sending all the missing parts. Yet I haven't receieved anything.... pretty sure i'll never see the parts.

Thankfully i've found all the missing parts from a friend but reguardless.. I paid for parts that I never recieved... probably won't be doing business with Fiercefirstgen559 again
