the stock cam is still good but i wanted to put a 268 from engnbldr. will this cam still beable to pass smog. and i need to replace my timimng chain should i go with engnbldr or LCengine. any info would be helpful. thanks

that cam is supposed to pass smog. I just put one in my truck and it rips

just order the 268 cam from engnbldr cant wait to see what its like with it in my truck

LCengineering or your local toyota dealer,  nothing else,  i learned the hard way :rivers:

go with the toyota dealer... that way you have somone to yell at when they send you the wrong part.

its a thorley header from sumit. with a 70 flowmaster it sounds chunky.

oh im putting the 40 series and high flow cat do you remember how much the timing chain was

Its about 160 bucks. That is from lc. I got most my stuff from lc but i've never got the right thing the first time, so if your not in a hurry they go with lc. you know i might have a 40 series on there. i don't remember. I grabed the only 2 inch in and 2 out they had on the shelf. Never had a cat on that truck.
