:psss:  I had a buddy in OK that hooked up an electric fence control box to his truck.  He knew where the knob was (hidden in a wheelwell) and would turn it on whenever he was away from his truck.  Anyone touching the sheetmetal got a good shot of juice... Made for a great practical joke too :hahaha:

Wow....:pokinit:. That sucks bro. My dad's old Ferd had the radio stolen and these guys were so low somehow they messed with the motor because they had time and we couldn't afford to repair the motor at the time, so we had to get rid of it the next day because those bastids!

That sucks mini!  I feel your pain man, my brothers corolla and my old 2wd were parked right next to each other by our apartment and they did the same thing.  What's worse is some welfare queen a few apartments down was outside smoking, heard the sound of the windows breaking and didn't even bother to take a few steps out to the driveway to see what was up!  I hope they did a better job of investigating yours than they did mine too, I gave em the name of the person who did it and they didn't persue it.

Theives are scum and deserve to be publically beaten!!!

From my experience, you go to the cops with names and some evidence and they don't do :pokinit:. I had fist marks, and fingerprints from this dude and his name and the cops didn't do anything. I was pretty steamed on that. Sorry to hear about your loss dude. Tweakers need to get cash somehow, so they think, hey that's a nice DVD player I can get like 20 bucks for it at the pawn shop, get a half and be happy for a few hours. Makes me sick.

Someone get 1 Ford powerstroke, 1 Chevy Duramax, 1 Dodge Cummins, and a damn tractor, draw and quarter him and see which machine rips off an appendage first, then crown them the winner....and of course the tweaker with 1 leg and 1 arm will be the loser.

Yeah, cops won't do a thing for a stolen stereo in San Jose, they say there are about 10 stolen each day, and it's not worth their time.

I went to the body shop today for an estimate.......$1965.00 for the damage to the 4Runner and $750.00 plus labor for the stereo.

So.....$2715.00 plus labor to get her fixed, thank god for insurance.

 :cheese: In Saint Louis they do police reports for car-break ins over the phone. they won't even send out an officer unless you've been shot or stabbed. um yea, really gets my hopes up for justice.  :shake: prevention is the only way to keep them from breaking in. get a good viper with a proximity alarm.

sadly, the toyota dash is waaay to easy to just rip off.  I got mad at my dash one day, it was causing some grief, and grabbed the tiny ledge at the top and pulled, The whole face came off including all the dials switches and lights.

Of course from there, i got to the radio screws that were rattling.
So I could see how easily and quickly someone could be a jerk and jack your stereo

That sucks huge bald tires, and I hope your insurance rates don't go up because of the claim.
