Couple of sweet videos of Tig welding aluminum
first ones too bright but the second one you can really see the arc and filler rod work the puddle

Sweet video, I wondered how Tig welding works, thats cool.

I want to take a welding class to learn how to do that. :yesnod:

It's not that hard, just takes practice like everything else.

That's a good way to burn out the camera too.

the thing that first got me was running on AC current, because of the noise, and the second thing was getting the machine dialed in, now its nothing but practice..
good videos though..

yep just have to change your gasses and filler rods accordingly and use different tungsten for the application

yup, the only other thing is adapting your technique depending on the mat. , gas, etc, for example when welding al, you cant really see the metal changing color like you can when welding chromoly or carbon steel, etc and as the video shows, the filler metal is being "dabbed" into the puddle, there is only about 10million ways to weld, just have to find what is comfortable and PRACTICE!
