12" metal lathe for sale with extras $1200
« on: Feb 27, 2006, 07:09:37 PM »
I'm out of space in the garage and something has to go. I'm selling my 12x36 lathe. Exras include 3 and 4 jaw chucks, steady rest, tooling, centers, gears to convert to metric threading and more. The lathe is made in china but has been a good lathe for about 6 years. It is 220v now but can be wired for 110v if you want. The manual says it weighs 400kg. It would have to be picked up in Clovis and hauled on a trailer and moved with a hoist or cherry picker. The picture is not very good because I took it with my cell phone but if you want to pm me with your e-mail address I have some better photos that show the lathe and attachments that are included.  I want $1200 for it. I hope to get started on my project truck this weekend and might be open to partial trades of parts plus cash. More on that later, I don't want to commit until I pick up the truck just in case the deal falls through.

I have a hoist in the garage that I used when I got it. I can pick it up and back a trailer under it. The manual shows the lift points, it lifts with a strap.
