Good Toyota (22RE) mechanic in Roseville/Sacramento area?
« on: Feb 27, 2006, 02:23:59 PM »
I've messed with my 4runner enough, and can't fix problems.  I was hoping someone knows of a good toyota mechanic (other than the dealers) in Sacramento area.  Someone who can figure out the problem and get it right.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

Thanks man.  My brother is in Paradise and is part of Nor-Cal Crawlers.  I will ask him about Burkets.  I was hoping to stay in Sac or Roseville to avoid hassle, but if they are great then that is what I will do.  Are they great will diagnostics?  That is really what I need.  Engine runs good, but all sorts of issues with high idle.  Checked a lot of stuff, and willing to pay to have it taken care of correctly.

Yea ask for Cam if you call in, only two places I know that do excellent work.. i had a major prob with my 22R last year and they fixed me up. Had many friends take their rigs to Rock n Roll Offroad to Curt for his expertise with 22RE's as well so I know he does good work.

I have a buddy who works at Toy Auto Mart in Rancho Cordova. Its right across the street from the domestic pick and pull. This guy knows alot about the 22re, I mean alot. This guy knows these 22re engines inside out. If you decide to go there just ask for the guy who drives the red low rider 4runner.
