I've posted on the subject of a rough ride in the past(
http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=14670.0), but now im finally ready to do something about it. I want to make the best of what i have: Currently im running the worst setup for street and even worse for offroading(IMHO). I got 5" of lift out of NWOR front springs...Luckily i picked em up for $5.00. And 4" blocks in the rear, without shocks on all four corners.
The Plan: Remove 1-2 leaves from the Hard NWOR springs and remove the blocks. Then add the removed leaves to the rear to level it out, and hopefully improve the ride a bit. I have a few problems i may run into tho. The NWOR's are a 4 leaf pack so im not sure how many i should remove, in order to "soften" them up. And once removed, i dont know how its going to sit lift wise. Also, when i add the leaf/leaves to the rear pack, i dont know how much its going to lift the stock pack.
I have the stock front springs, if you guys think i should swap any leaves from those in. I guess im just going to have to do it all by trial and error. Just looking for ideas. Or possible experience with trying toften up NWOR's crap springs.
