She could tell him that she's going to be gone so he doesn't have to figure anything out?   :rofl2:

This one time in college, no not band camp, I got a small Elmo stuffed animal instead of a boutonniere, I still have it somewhere so it was much cooler than a flower.

Get him an RC Crawler or some other toy, guys always like toys.  :headscratch:  :dunno:

Not knowing them kind of makes it difficult to have more then generalized ideas.

Our anniversary is less then a month from V-day so being as V-day is nothing but a big commercialized Hallmark holiday made to put pressure on guys in relationships  not to screw this one up (too) and make people not in relationships realize how empty their lives are because, of course, you are nobody till somebody loves you we don't celebrate v-day but save it for our own personal special day, our anniversary.

Or if you wanna be unoriginal, tell her to go to one of those build-a-bear stores.  Its kinda fun, cheesy, and she can personalize the bear

Well then, they should go to a nice conservative restaraunt, and when the time is right and they fully trust each other, they can hold hands....long as nobody's lookin

the best thing they could do for each other is agree not to do anything and make a special "US" date for themselves at another time.
That holiday does nothing but put undo unrealistic ideal's into wimmins heads, and but undo unrealistic pressure on the mensfolk.
If the guy doesn't come through it's going to be an issue. It's stupid.
