move perches inward

should i move my perches in 1/2 to 1 inches on each side.  I am already going to replace the perches so i figured then would be the perfect time to do it???? thanks for your input i am new to this and this is my first truck that i am building
83 shortbed frame / 88 extra cab / toy rears up front / grand cherokee in rear i believe / stock gears and motor / first time out rolled it with a broken neck

why???? i can understand 2 or three inches, i have done that, but 1/2 and inch would be almost a waste of time, not really gonna help you out at all, i moved a freinds in 3 inches eache side, that was sweet, more leverahe on the axle, more travel, but 1/2 wouldnt help ya

the original perch had a plate welded to them and the hole is about 3/4 of an inch i could probably go about 1 1/2 max on both sides so 3 total.  i am just rebuilding this housing  everthing was messed with when i got it so i took it down to nothing and did some tube work and just curious about the perches so i can finish it

it might be nice to move em in, but if your gonna do it, do it enough so the its worth your time :thumbs:

i am slightly limited on space before in hit the tubing
