TRANNY ENLARGING HOLES.

 did anyone enlarge the holes on the tranny where bolts go in to bolt the t-case?  t-case threads got stripped and i am changing the bolt size to 12 but the holes are llittle small. i am asking before doing so.

I don't see why you couldn't make them a little bit bigger :dunno:  I'm not the best to answer, but I don't see it being a problem, as long as you don't go too big

Before you go to 12 mm, use a 10 x 1.25 mm heli coil or time sert.
You can buy an installation kit at most auto parts stores.

Going to an oversize bolt will only cause more problems.

I agree with Marlin. The smallest sealing surface is usually near bolt holes, and if you take material away from there, it might give you trouble down the road.
