Topic: Pro Sports vs. College

Thanks to BigMike I for the first time sat and watched a college football game. As I sat and watched I noticed for the players it was about the game and not themselves. Now I sure there is me-ism there but for the most part the game was about the game, taking chances and playing fooball instead of playing it safe and going with the odds. I think I'm hooked on college sports now, Pro sports have sucked for a while now, it is all me, me, me and not about the game.

I voted for Pros.  I don't know the next thing bout anything but.  (I'm a baseball fan) and follow the major leagues.... Shoot, I don't even know the names of the college teams

I know what you mean I think college is wear it's at.  High school ball seams like kids just do it to be cool.  With college it's almost like it was there dream, and they cherish it.

 I had a pretty good chance of playing college foot ball with a scholarship because of my size but it just wasn't me.  I went to a few practices and camp in High School but never enjoyed it that much.

 If I had played it would not have been out of desire but the chance to go to college for cheap


I guess it all depends on the player and how they look at it
