They reported that they were alive before they knew the facts. What do you think of that?

Well what ended up happening is it 11:47 PM someone inside yelled, theyre all alive! This got out to the parking lot, where all the news people were, and the news people told the families.

I think it is TOTAL BS. Can you imagine the stress put on those families to get their hopes up only to have them crushed. What happened was terrible! If only the press werent such vultures.

I think that is incredibly irresponsible, and insensitive of the reporters.  I cannot imagine a family being under that stress, given that hope, and then hear someone go, "Oh, sorry, nevermind, we were wrong"

and even worse, after they found they were dead, they waited to tell them. They just let these people go on thinking they were alive just so they could have time to find someone to blame.

It is so sad. What a terrible tragedy that was compounded by their incompetence.

I have always been disappointed by the reporter world.  They're always insensitive, incompetent, and all they care about is that one story that might give them THEIR big break ::) :shake:

Lookin at this and all the raw hurt and anger, it hits home for me.  Kinda a reality check :shudder:

This is why I don't believe one word the news media says, the last I heard was that all but 1 were alive. That they had been taught survival skills and had used them to survive and had moved into different tunnels that would provide protection from futher blasts or cave-ins and for fresh air. All this BS came through the media, I figure that yes they were trained to do these things and that was conveyed to the media and they tryed to get the scoop on everyone else when the rumour came out that they were found alive. I wish and hope that those people that lost their loved ones can sue thoughs idiots that reported that they were found alive. This irresponsible reporting has got to be stopped.
