Topic: dual cases on a g58 trans?

i got a 91 pickup with the g58 trans and chain t-case. i know i will need two gear driven t-cases plus the adapter but will they bolt to my g58?

i have a 93 runner with a g58 and someone on this board told me they talked to marlin and yes they will bolt up to a g58 tranny, however marlin said they are not as strong as if you were running a w56. so yes your tranny will work with 2 gear driven cases and the chain to gear adapter. Also he said the strength is really not that big of a deal. Im interested to know more too so any info from other people would be cool.

damn people i was wonderin the same thing..... i can get ahold of 2 g58 trannys with t cases from a 90 and 94? 1 gear out in both of them but for 50 bux for both... there outa a 4cyl... how much are the adapters? i saw marlin had one but wasnt that for the v6 chain/gear swap??
