need you help!!!!! v6 chain to gear transfer case

i have a 1990 4runner with a v6 and auto tranny....can anyone tell me how i can change my chain driven t-case to a gear t-case.. any other year trucks that have a gear t-case fit??? i wanted to swap motor and tranny out of 96+ runner but just cost too much.. so what are my options... thanks

A year ago, you would have been told it is impossible with your A340H tranny.....but right now there are 2 companies that make an adapter for you to interface the 4 cyl gear driven case to your auto......one is inchworm.

Oh ya.....that means you have to ditch the chain case.
