For the $ is a v6 that much more superior than a 4cyl 5.29 with a detroit locker? I called Randys ring and pinion and they said it was not worth the xta $ and they offer a lifetime warranty for like 30 bucks on the 4 cyl 5.29 with a detroit locker.

the main weakness in the 4 cylinder 3rd member is the carrier since its kinda thin. other than that, the V6 is pretty close in strength. the detroit replaces the carrier, so i think that issue would be corrected.
