Rears up front and drilling the spring perches back about 1 1/2" will help immensely.  Tub the firewall to the body mount and it should all work nicely.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

Well, unloaded not at all. Only in the front, under full articulation, it contacts the cab near the bottom of the doors like usual. I can drive it around and turn lock to lock with no problem. Maybe it had something to do with the wheelspacers or something? Only using 1.5", but that should make it worse..  Also, my axle has moved about 1.5" forward, so that helps.

I want to run 37x13.50s next summer, so I will have to trim that section of the cab then for those babies

Mike check out $300 on like page 7ish.  I tubbed the corners on my 81 about 3" and it was EASY to do and it looked good when it was done.  I only wish my 3rd gen had first gen corners on it...  :(

Right awn WT, I'll remember that when I do mine. I've seen Andy and Rocky do it at the shop, so I shouldn't have much trouble with it.

I am going to borrow Marlin's 37s for some snow runs this winter, and I am sure they will work for that, but I am sure I couldn't rock crawl with them.. But they are no where as tight as mitchells.....

i've got 2" spacers in stock position. It rubs the body mounts and inner fenders pretty bad. Once I get ahold of my buddies MIG im gonna chop the body mounts inward a bit and tub the inner kick panel a good 4-6"  lay some new sheet metal in there and call it good.

I'll post up pics when I start it, should only take a day or two.

I have my axle forward 3" and was only running 4" of lift for a while with almost no rubbing with 37" but I lifted it 2 more cause I didn't like how soft it was and my shocks were bottoming out hard when I wheeled

I think this was enough tubbing the firewall
83 shortbed frame / 88 extra cab / toy rears up front / grand cherokee in rear i believe / stock gears and motor / first time out rolled it with a broken neck
