The 1981 22r - do you believe it is in rebuildable condition?  Has it ever been rebuilt before?  Is it a longblock (with head), shortblock (without head), and does it come with all of the accessories (intake/exhaust manifold, carb, alternator, a/c compressor, etc.???  Do you have the clutch/flywheel for it?  It looks like it is already pulled ready to be sold???  I'm down in Redding, CA - and in desperate need of a rebuildable 22r...  Do you have pics of the engine that you could post, as well as pics for the BEEFY front bumper with winch plate (the $250 one)...

Thanks a bunch,
Ken

Hello Ken,
Yes it is very rebuildable.
I was just driving around with this engine about 3 months ago until I pulled it.
All is there.  Carb to oil pan (clutch flywheel etc...)
I will got some pics of it later today.

Thanks
Bill

Sounds like it's just what I'm needing...  I'm really afraid my current engine isn't going to be doing so well in the near future... It's pretty much on its last leg.  Are you around tomorrow?  (Sunday).  I'm thinking of a banzai run to Medford...  Might have to swing by the little brewery in Ashland on my way up.  Can't remember the name of it, but they make a really mean BBQ chicken pizza, that goes so well with their beer...

Your welcome!  I'll be tearing into it tomorrow!  Have to call my dad's buddy who happens to be the machinist for one of the import engine rebuilders... maybe he can work me a good deal... Wonder what kind of beer he likes?!?!
I'll let you know how the rebuild goes...

Thanks again,
Ken
