Front driveline question ??
« on: Oct 27, 2005, 05:52:24 PM »
I just put dual cases in my truck and was wandering if I could just weld a 6.5" peace of driveline toobing beetween the 8" slip and the cv-joint. Would this be trail worthy? I made my buddy a front drive shaft from a rear driveline with his 8" slip kit but I can't find any rears in good shape, Pick And Scrap always bends them with the forklifts and for the price a regular salvage yard wants I could get it professionally built. Just an idea.

Go square!! I only have 25 or 30 bucks into mine, it's stronger and has all the travel you'll ever need.

I agree with FIREBALL, go square driveline. They're cheap and nearly indestructable.
