hows it steer now?

got it all back in yesterday. my belt was stretched out so i had to get a new one. i think the belt your suppose to get is to long for it anyways because when i go to tension it the pumps slammed against the motor and it still should be tighter so i stepped down a 1/2" on the belt and its super tight now and the thing STEERS SO GOOD. its all ready for hydro assist. i cant believe how much better it is. i really like it and got rid of some more wobble in the steering.

got my rear mounting tabs and everything ready for the skit on monday.  super simple design using angle iron and some welded nuts.  also went to oroville today and won $40 on the black jack tables.

skid plate should be done tomorrow or wednesday the latest. blah blah blah ya it wont be for 2 months. NO, it will be done. the idea is to get it on my truck and then ill finish it over at my place. we got the steel today. callens skid is pretty much done and looks sick. ours will both look probably 98% the same. the high density plastic is basically out the door now. ill get pictures tomorrow.

2 months to get around to it. 2 days to MAKE it.

like around your fenders and :pokinit:

it wouldnt work. if youve seen the stuff i have its basically like a 1/2 and 3/4" cutting board type material.

it wouldnt work trying to put :pokinit: around the fenders. i could still skin the skid plate but doing that id have to mod the plastic a bunch and it would be a pain. plus i have 1/4". after i stitch it with some angle iron it wont flex. i was planning on bringing the plastic down for you and pat.

mine is all done.  i have seriously about 4 hours into this.  looks stupid simple,  but there is a ton of measuring to get the bot holes to all line up.

well the thing is pretty much done. i just need to build the little bucket for it tomorrow and drill a few holes to mount the rear bolts. looks like callens above. it looks like the cases hang down a lot in the last picture but they only do about another 1/4" or so below the steel. i was also kinda thinking about skinning it with the plastic to. i dont know...  oh well. ill get more tomorrow when its under the truck and done. it looks like the cases hang down a lot in the last picture but they only do about another 1/4" or so below the steel. i was also kinda thinking about skinning it with the plastic to. i dont know...

i found the other pictures i was looking for.

alright here you go. im gunna head back out and do some drilling in it for the rear bolts to go through and it should go up tomorrow morning. my weldings getting better slowly. i still need to weld a couple more things and grind on the skid to make those welds go away so it can look nice and smooth like a slip in side covered in KY.
