your truck is going to hate going up the mountain on the way to the hammers!  that one hill had me down to like 35 mph with my chip set to 4 blowing 1200 EGT's.  it totally sucked.

maybe so, but we will be splitting fuel costs 3+ ways. . . . ill put the freaker in lo range if i have to.  that is if i can get this all worked out, otherwise kyle is driving his junk pile, colby and i already have a trailer for 2 trucks, but would be too long for the doubles set up.

and yeah, your dad can tow whatever he wants. . . .tell him hes a puss for not getting haz mat, it was cake

yeah, having the class A is titties when it comes to doing stupid stuff and staying legal.  the GCVW of an F350 (BTW its a 6spd kyle) is 20k with a Class C, but with the Class A i am able to tow up to 80k behind whatever i want as long as i dont overload any individual axle AND am able to stop within the required distance.  ALSO you need at least a Class B to tow over 40' combine length in CA.  this means that as long as i can get under 65.5' i will be able to tow all three rigs legally. and safely.  i would only be around 35k with this load which is plenty safe with both trailers having brakes.  its just too long, totally blows.

Thats awesome, itd be a site to see thats for sure!

i am not towing that gooseneck ever again with my truck.  was too much weight for it.  Kent "might" be towing it down there this year.  if he does tow it it will most likely have yota4lifes truck on it, not sure who else.  PM "little blue" about it.  the thing is an extra cab and a single cab won't fit, but maybe two single cabs.

it would be about $450 in fuel to get there and back. . .thats just in diesel, if i can get this set up going, or get a 40' gooseneck well figure it out then.  its just going to be about 100 gallons of diesel to get there and back.  btw, i have a line on a 40' gooseneck, ill be checking it out tomorrow hopefully.

my PS pump was blown to smithereans so i rebuilt it this evening.

first you have to take the thing which is kind of a pain and with mine had about 3/8" worth of dirt/grease/fluid stuck everywhere. i also pulled an additional bracket off to clean it up. i then seperated the resivror/tank from the pump and wire wheeled them along with the bracket. you can see how bad it was gummed up.

next your gunna remove this backing plate. both bolts are 14mm. when you take the plate off theres a large snapring around the first spacer or disk. you can use a c-clamp to push it and and remove the c clip. once you do this it will start to pop out. i had the pump on its side so it didnt come flying out, atleast mine didnt but just have your hand ready. then there will be a spring underneath the first spacer and then another black spacer. both of these have O-rings on them that you can replace.

once the spring and two spacers are out your going to see a gear with alignment pins inside of it with another spacer surrounding it. there are 2 pins that run down the spacer inside the pump. 1 is connected to the actual pump and the other is removable. to move the gear to the surface your going to have to tap the pulley shaft till it moves the gear up. then theres a tiny c-clip on the gear that needs to be removed. then tap out the shaft.

its not in yet, i broke the idle up pressure switch when we were putting the high pressure valve back in.  i have another on here at the house though, so itll be all good tomorrow.  kyle did a awesome job cleaning this thing up and resealing it.  the pump was incredibly simple to rebuild, and very cool to see how it works.

Well he got a new one but i put all the old 3.gay suff back on the pump and its good to go

Its actuallly really not that hard and the only thing i broke was also the idle up switch thing but we got it all good and tomorrow he is putting in a brand new 3.gay motor into his 92 truck.

Its going to be tight,
