dizzy, i do belive ill be doing that set up. sounds good, i dont really want to change all too much within the truck. so i belive ill look into the 4.7s with the 5.29's. i gotta keep in mind i also dont wheel all too much with it and would hate to have all that capability and oly able to use it 2% of the time. altho i do have the option to do that later if in case i do start wheeling more and having more funds.

it does look pretty ugly with all the scratches and new body lines the rocks have giving it. :hammerhead: :driving:

Well watched the tach today, in 4th at 70 it is about 3000, in 5th it drops to 2500. When I get to 80 it is back up to 3000.

that the ROCKS GAVE it? haha, j/k. yea, as of right now, my 4th will render 3000 rpms doing about 75-77. if i hit 5th it drops it to 2450-2550 rpms and can run TRY to run it to 3000 rpms wich would run around 86, 89 mph

The nice thing with the double case is that if you don't plan on hard wheeling all the time you can still have a stock low range, then when you need more kick in the other case. With the case gears you are always in real low range. I don't mind cause I go out to the harder trails more often. Even on light duty trails it doesn't bother me to much. Just put in 2 or 3 and have a desent low range and not to low. Just thinking out loud and some info for you. :disturbed:

Dizzy has the double case with stock gears and he loves it, :drooling:

yea, the more we talk about it the more i wanna set of duals. :tease: ill more then likely eventually do them, but i need to prioritize and get some lower gears in my axles done so im not doing 35mph up the grades in alpine and past hacumba on the way to and from the dunes. so those will get done first. then ill go after the transfer case gears. once that is done and settled, ill feel it out from there and decide how badly i want them dual cases. afterall, i can just buy two sets as they are not in short supply out here in cali, then build them and slap em in place and measure how long a shaft ill need for the rear, have it made, and slap em in with the new rear shaft, and once it is in ill also have the front done...................... DAMN! i have this planed out all too well!!!  :flamer:  :hammerhead:
