40's Truck stretched
« on: Sep 22, 2005, 07:33:16 PM »
Yota on 40's and I were talking tonight about stretching and linking up the rear of his truck.  I used my awesome Photoshop skillz and stretched it out a bit.  Lemme know what you think.

I'd say it's about 3-4" too long the way you PhotoChopped it.  bring the front of the rear wheel just forward of the rear of the gas door, and I think you'll have it!  would be pretty sick, though, with some coilovers and a link setup.

I would say link the rear but keep it in the same spot.  Move the front forward a bit.

For some reason I was thinking about it last night.  When he gets his duals in, he's gonna have to shorten his rear driveshaft.  How could one avoid shortening the driveshaft????  Of course, stretch the wheelbase and link it up.

Somebody needs to be a little different, the majority of toys are all using leaf springs.  Why not spice it up a little bit?

why does everyone link the rear first? i would think people would want better approach angles by linking the front and ditching the leafs.
