aftermarket gauges
« on: Sep 12, 2005, 12:04:08 PM »
oh, this my get me a good flaming, but i need to know what kind of gauges i need (mechanical/electrical) for my 22re in my buggy.  i am not much of a motor man, and do not know where they hook up on the motor.  i have been running a tach for the last few months only and now...well, i need temp and oil pressure.  any pics or advice would be great.

thanks, holley

autometer electric gauges are what i run, temp, oil, and batt. the temp hooks up on the left side of the block under the header/exhaust manifold, there is an oil pressure port underneath the right side engine mount.

i cannot find anything under the exhaust manifold for a sending unit to bolt into.  is there a sending unit temp gauge input under and forward of the intake manifold?
