because billet =

they both should be very strong, i just wish i would've waited a month to buy my kit because i'd be sitting here with a pair of forged arms gathering dust instead of billet arms and an extra $50 in my account :hammerhead:

I have heard that forged should be stronger because there isn't a grain in the metal like in billet. When billet breaks it breaks straight across on the grain, like wood.

Its like the MC07 verse the MC08. They both are strong and look good. The MC08 looks better and is stronger but the MC07 is stronger then a stock t-case housing and is made of smiliar materal. Same goes for the Billet and forged arms, Both are super strong. The billet has a smoth finish the forged has a finish like the stock steering arm. We going for a standard kit with the forged and a higher end kit with the billet, just like with the MC08 and MC07. It gives the customer more choices.
