I don't have to pay taxes and we have no major companies that are into hardcore rockcrawling :shakehead:

I would have to pay Marlin's price, which is $349 US... even that there adds up, its around $405 CAD. Like I already said, shipping would be expencive... I would say $150 at the least. So it will cost me around $550 plus border fees, which on an item that expencive would be about $200. When it gets to my door it would be approximately $800 CAD.
I can get AA cheaper I think, but they aren't as strong. :dunno:

Now for that update I promised!

Here is a couple of the tire carrier (I know... POSER)

Here are some flex pics... I was bored OK :smack:

I have it maxed, the back tire is off of the ground and the front shock is fully compressed. The passanger side front can droop more though.

Let me know what you guys think.

Well, I've been doing some body work to the truck and I have MOST of the rust gone, I just need to pick up 2 new front fenders.
I am smoothing the cap out and painting it. Its all coming together, but its take forever.
I will be painting the truck Light green metallic.
Here are a couple pics of the new quarters. :gap:

I'll hopefully be able to drive it by next week... The only crappy deal is that I can't put my tire carrier back on :shake_head:

Yea, I dunno whats up with the shipping, I think it is because I go through USPS instead of UPS.

Thanks for the comment, I'd say it looks about 90 to 100% better now. Check out the new skin! :shocking:

You got to let us know if, over time, that tire carrier deforms the mount points above the tail lights.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Well CTENG, I had it on for a month or two and beat it pretty hard and there wasn't any problem... but as of right now, the tire carrier cannot be put back on the truck because the corners are fiberglass and would definitely break.

I will soon be deciding on another way to mount it, maybe with some new rear rock bars

I will be updating this periodically because I will be fixing my car up for summer driving and the truck will be just a project.

Thanks RustRunner! its light green metallic, I love it... just take a little time to get used to though.

I like the color, looks sweet, I had an 87 runner that had some rust in the rear fenders but not as bad as yours was.

I went on the GAC 2 years ago with my 82 Toyota and we had to stop at the river. Maybe they have a new trail? I don't really know much about it. I may end up going... I am also going to the May Run I think.

Motorider, I would drive it.. but I am in school and can't afford to. I only get, if I'm lucky 250km per tank.

I was there 2 years ago. Was it on the Lakeside trail on the first day you stopped at the river?  It didn't get much better from there. They Made a new trail out in the Pockwock area that's a good run and another on called ellerhouse. There is talk they are making  a new trail this year even harder. Well, if you can do body work then it isn't all that bad. This is the first time I have ever done any body work myself so it was quite a difficult job. It took me a month and a half to get everything done and painted.

I wouldn't recommend the fiberglass quarters for much wheeling because they will break on you, I was leary on it but it was my only way to go since I am in Nova Scotia every vehicle on the road rots and there was nothing to get from a salvage yard either.

I am very happy with the way they came out, but wouldn't want to do it again.
