Do you know if it will bolt up to a 1985 with a 4 cylinder?  It's a five speed right?

yep it's a 5 speed but you'll need an adapter if you want to use your 4 banger t-case...

To use a v-6 5spd,(88-95) you'll need either the v-6 5spd T.C. (chain driven), or an adapter to a 4cyl case (about 350.00) AND a turbo tranny (5spd,2wd or 4wd) bell housing, AND the clutch and flywheel from either a 93-95 4cyl 22re or the turbo setup from the 86-88 22rte, AND/OR a 23 spline turbo T.C., Again from the  22rte 5spd truck 4wd 86-88, Don't forget about the clutch arm, I believe it must be from a 86-88 22rte 5spd truck, Marlin can hook you up, to use the v-6 5spd trans My 02   Stew
