spring perch spacer

how thick should it be? im puting rears up front on my sas 89.
89 ext cab sas with diamond +4 1/2" housing 30 spline longs and hub gears, hp elocker, six studs, arp studs in everything, taco rear with elocker. swaped out 22re for 3.4l supercharged, urd 2.0" pulley, urd fuel management, downey headers, flowmaster, cold air intake, marlin clutch that is straining to hold up

Yup just a generic piece of 3/8x2" plate will do ya. 
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

If I run a caster wedge I will add one short leaf onthe driver side at the bottom of the pack and attach the spacer to the spring pack using the centering bolt.  On the passenger side I cut a thin leaf the length of the caster wedge and put it under the wedge.  That adds a bit of safety as the wedges will nto have such a tendancy to break apart. 

If you not runnign any caster wedges then dissregaurd that and just weld the bastid to the origional perch.
