I hate ordering parts i need on friday, and then having to wate all weekend for them to ship monday, then on top of that wate for them to get here. Have any of you replaced gas lines? Like i said earlier theres a hole in a return line from welding to close to it and i need a new one, i was thinking steel braded line wiht the correct fittings? Any suggestions are welcome. If you think the purple axle is pretty, wate till i bob this thing, do some body work, new fenders & doors etc., and then paint it. The paint is going to be the pretty part  ...

Hey I noticed all your work is done with a stick welder. What sticks you using? If I cant find a mig to borrow then i may have to pull out the dinosaur from the corner of the garage. :yikes:

Lincoln ac/dc tombstone welder, 6011 route passes( a couple of them) and then follow that up with some 7018 if you like overkill welds, like me....stick welders are fine, jsut not for the really tight stuff, light frame tubes.....i wanted to shoot myself. But other than that its been fine.

Well, got my brake lines and fror framew brace kit, got that all done today and i drove it a bit, its pretty good, needs to be aligned, not much to any death wobble at aroun 35-40. Steering is a little tight though? Maybe the steering cv joint binding up because of the angle of the box? I da know, ill post some pics of it tomarrow and if your nice enough you can tell me what you think. All i know is its great to have it out of the garage and be able to drive it :driving:
Thanks,

Damen

Its been a while since ive updated but its coming along. In the pictures i was as far as having put my spacers on, brake lines, sky billet flat pitman arm,and an extra leaef in my front pack for a alittle more lift and that was about it. Over the past week i got a dual case setup w/ 4.7 in the back with 23 spline and a sky crossmember, so i got those installed this past weekend.. The guy gave me 2 marlin shifter knobs with it so i was happy :eyebrow: I got some marlin sliders sitting around waiting to be installed, but im buying body parts this week so im painting it and i figure i should install them after i paint it to make my life easier. After that comes making bumpers etc. and all that good stuff. ALSO im going to bob it this weekend. I hate talking about what im going to do but im tryin to step up the pace a bit and get it finished but school and lots of work leaves little time for my truck.

Whats up dude. I don't know if you remember me but I came by your buddy's house and looked at his 4runner. I have a red 4runner also that I will be SASing soon. Looks good except for that gay ass color on the front axle.  :stopit: WHY? Anyway, hopefully I will see you out on the trails when you get that thing finished.

Thanks for all the comments. I hope to get some more work done this weekend :crossed: Why the purple axle color you ask? Because i like purple. My cross member is purple, and my rear axle shall be purple as well. If you dont like the front axle your going to hate the color i am painting my truck :moon:

Ill try and go find some rims tomarrow and get them mounted. :eyebrow: I also got a grant wheel from the same guy i got the tires from for next to nothing. Also i took pics of the dual ultimate bling.

Got my tires mounted on some 15x8 2.5bs rims over the weekend. I think it looks pretty good and made a big difference. And the best part is now i have even more insentive to dish out the cash for new 5.29 diffs  Had it out of the garage and felt it was time for an update photo shoot.

what kind of springs did you use?  how much do you have in the SAS?  I'm thinking about doing it on mine soon.
