ARB snorkle on a 79-83 truck?
« on: Jun 14, 2005, 07:39:49 PM »
Anyone tried to mount a ARB snorkle on a 79-83 truck?
I would really like to know if one would fit.
I have a pic of this one from brian4x4's site that had 2 snorkles on it.
I highly doubt both of them are in use though looks more for looks..

I just wondered what ARB snorkle model they used on it.

If anyone has done this please put up some pics.

Thats the 1 batman just make sure when ya fit the rubber pipe between the snork and air box you run a bead of  silastic on both ends to help seal most seem to suck in water from this area here in aus .
The rubber is just a bit thick and the clamps tend not to seal very well so the bead of silastic helps.

Ya it's not bad for $255. A buddy owes me some money (about $500) I think it's time to collect have him buy me a snorkle....
