Wheel spacers
« on: Jun 13, 2005, 02:53:47 PM »
I have a 2003 Tacoma Double Cab.  I am thinking about using 1.5" wheel spacers to widen the stance and reduce the roll-over possibility.  What are some things that I should be aware of I do this?

Spacers get a bad rep for coming loose but if you keep them torqued properly at regular intervals theres nothing wrong with them. I run 1"er's all the way around my 83, check them regularly and have never found one to be out of torque. You can use Loctite (blue) also if you want.

I've got the 1.5", use blue locktite, and torque before every run. No problems yet.
