How to find rear springs to match 5" front
« on: May 06, 2005, 04:22:17 PM »

I want to buy Marlins 5" lift rear 56" long springs , but he does not have them yet and no ETA

How do I measure or know if 4" lift rear springs would be a good fit?

I'm not sure there is an answer,  but if I could hear some feedback WITH Truck SPECS and purpose it would help

What are the issues behind using lift shackles to help lift RATHER Than jst using higher Lift Springs?

I have a 85 4runner, 22re, w56, dual cases, 36's, 1" body lift, 2" lift shackles, Alcan 5" 48" long FRONT SPrings and Old Mazda 56" long rear springs.  I need to replace the rear.

My front TIP FRAME Height is 31", that's very high with only having 33" tires on.

Thank you for your feedback,  Again Pleae list your SPeCS:
 tire size
bod lift, if any
frame height
shackles
spring lift and manufacturer Front & Rear
If possible body to fender measurement
4Sale stuff,  350 trannies, Dual shackles,  J steering arms etc. Auto meter gauge pods.
