The truck shows 266,000 miles and I don't know if the tranny has been gone through, and I've only driven it about 10 miles so all I can really say is it shifted nicely for me and didn't make any wierd noises.  I could take it down my road and back just to double check if need be.  I'm up in Redding area.  If you have any friends who need parts it would be easier for me to sell the whole truck.  It has a recent engine (around 30,000 miles) but the carb needs to be rebuilt.
RIP KYOTA

It's an 86.  It's in the rigs for sale section with a little better description.  I just don't have the time or desire anymore, plus I have a lot funner projects on line too.  Sorry, didn't mean to thread jack.

Well, if he can wait a little while I have 2 84s I'm gonna be pickin up after I sell the 86, and they both should have g54s, right?  I might put a cab on the reg cab and sell it(or drive it, who knows), and might sell the x-cab one to.... ummmm...... a competing shop up in Oregon, but if not I'll gladly part with the tranny.  If you/he are interested lemme know and I'll keep you in mind,            Nate
